At two a.m. I happened to pass
My Tiger with her paw in my glass! Why there she stole
It instead of her bowl,
I simply don’t know – what sass!
The iPad is Tiger’s great passion.
Its cat games she finds simply smashin’.
She jumps on the screen
With a triumphant mien
Ears back and the tail alashin’.
I’d like to get up and budge
But Tiger ignores any nudge
She lies on my arm
And knows I won’t harm
Her or think of holding a grudge.
When Tiger gets thirsty, only the tap
Will do and I always clap
My hands at the way
She drinks and I say:
Get dry before you come and sit on my lap!
Tiger adores the television.
The Olympics to her were a vision
Of movement and skill.
She never got her fill
It was better than catching a pigeon!

Tiger’s snuggled on my bed, sound asleep.
Haven’t heard from her even a peep-
So much rain occurring,
She’s not even purring,
In Orpheus’s world very deep.
